On Sunday, March 13th, Pumpkin turned 8 years old. I often forget she was only turning 8, because she acts a lot older. She is definitely my right hand. She plays the oldest sister role very well, and loves to play Mommy to her siblings. Of course, sometimes that doesn't go over well with the others, but she tries. She can whip a room into shape in no time. She tells me that she really likes to clean, which is just how I was as a kid. I can ask her to go tackle a room that might be a real mess, and she'll have it looking perfect in no time. She's really growing up so fast, and I wish I could just push pause on life, because it saddens me to see how quickly she's going from girl to young lady. We are so thankful for her, and love her very much.
She has been wanting to learn how to play the violin, so she was so excited to get one for her birthday, and looks forward to taking lessons from Anna.
