Valentine Birthday Girl!

Olivia's birthday fell on a Sunday this year, so we had a party for her the day before.  She is the spark in our family.  So full of life.  She can be overjoyed with happiness one minute, and then extremely disappointed about something the next.  So she's quite emotional, but she is maturing and growing into a sweet young lady.  We thank the Lord for her.  She keeps us laughing with the funniest things she'll say or do.  Even today she asked me to read a book to her. And, when I read the first line on the first page, she says, "wow, Mom, you are good!"  I seriously started laughing so hard I could hardly continue reading.  I sure hope my reading skills have improved after all these years!  She teaches us so much.  I don't want to put my children in a mold.  We don't have this mold that we do and push, making each child be the same, and in essence robbing them of their own uniqueness.  God made each one of us different, and we should celebrate those differences instead of push our own agenda.  She is so full of happiness and life, and doesn't fear crowds (which can teach you humility), but I'm loving her uniqueness and learning to laugh and cry along with it.

This picture was actually taken on her birthday!
