On November 22, Patrick and I celebrated 11 years of marriage. It fell on a Saturday this year, which was so nice, because we got to spend all day together. We went out that evening for dinner, and enjoyed several hours to ourselves. I'm thankful for Patrick! We met as kids, and God had that planned so perfectly to eventually lead us to marriage. He's the love of my life, my soulmate, and best friend. He's a rock, and someone I can always talk to, no matter what. And he helps me so much with our six, soon to be seven, children. I know his help makes it so much easier than it could be for me. I love how he's persistent, and never gives up. He loves the Lord, and I always enjoy listening to him lead our family in devotions, and how he strives to point the kids to the Lord in everything. He's an optimist to his very core. We've been through times in the past with life that he could have changed from an optimist to a pessimist, but he didn't! :) I'm glad God made him that way, and I'm happy to spend my life by his side.
