Last Friday the kids and I made the trip down to Vero Beach to spend the day with Joy and her kids. I had promised them when we finished school that we would go down there one day this summer.  So, we left bright and early and got to Vero around 10:30.  The kids did excellent on the ride down and back.  So, Joy told her kids they had a surprise happening that day, but didn't tell them what.  So when we  got there, Brandon and Adrian went to the door and Caden and Alayna were quite shocked when they answered their knock and saw who it was!! I tried to capture the initial shock on Caden's face, but missed it by a few seconds.   We had a great day with them.  We went to the beach and the children had a lot of fun there.  We got rained out there, and so we had a picnic lunch under a pavilion, and then headed back to Joy's house.  We were glad we could make the trip down there, our kids certainly miss having the  Anders' cousins around.
