Vacation Part 4........West Virginia visit with the Schmidt family...

After Michigan we drove down to West Virginia where we spent a couple days with Tj, Susan, and the kiddos. We had a good time, and the children enjoyed spending time with more of their cousins. One of the days we were there we drove into Harpers Ferry and walked around the town there.

Michigan....Vacation Part 3......

So our next stop after Indiana was Michigan. This is where Adrian was born and Patrick and I spent the first year of married life. We arrived on Saturday, and went by the house we rented while we were up there, which was also where Adrian was born. He thought it was very cool to go back to his birthplace!
Afterwards driving by some of the places we used to see and go to, we went to the Ford's house to spend two nights. They are the family that pastor's the church we were members of while we lived in Michigan. It was so good to see them again, it had been 5 1/2 years. They were so hospitable, and we had such a great time getting to visit and catch up on what's going on in their lives. They had a get-together on Sunday afternoon where we got to visit with a lot of people.

Sunday evening after church we went to the Harpers house to visit with them. It was neat to be able to meet both of their children, which were born after we moved.
