We spent a few days in Miami this week. Patrick had some business to take care of there on Tuesday and Wednesday, so we went down a day early, so we could enjoy a little time off to go to the beach. We spent most of the day on Monday at the beach, and had a blast. The kids all love the sand and water, and would spend all day out there. None of them are scared to jump in the waves, so we have so keep such a close eye on the younger two. Adrian has no problem swimming all over like a little fish!After playing for a couple of hours, Pumpkin was ready for her morning nap, and fell asleep right there on the beach! Couldn't ask for a better baby girl!

Hannah-Lynn is 17 1/2 months old now, and growing up very quickly. Her vocabulary is expanding daily, and she surprises me with the words she can see. Her favorite at the time are Daddy, MaMa, Bubba (for Adrian), milk, yes, NO!, baby, eat, and something that sounds like cracker. Adrian is always trying to teach her a new word , and gets very excited when she'll say it for him. She's a very happy child, and is very loving to her brothers, often spontaneously giving them a hug or kiss, or both! She loves to "mother" Brandon a little bit when he'll let her. There have been a few times where she's sat on the couch, and he lays his head in her lap, and she'll rub his hair, it's very sweet! The boys love her to death, and she knows it! They have their spats from time to time, but she's a tough cookie, and she's not normally the one on the rough of it in the end! I made this dress for her a couple months ago, and I've been wanting to get pictures of her in it ever since, and finally took the time tonight at sunset to take her out for a few pictures. As you can see she's very photogenic, and very easy to take pictures of!
