After Adrian figured out how to climb in and out of his crib last week we decided it was time to go ahead and get him a bed. He comes walking into our bedroom during the middle of the night and tells us he got out of his crib! The next morning I asked him how he got out of the crib and he said, " I jumped Mommy". We decided to go ahead and get him used to the bed before the baby is born rather than after the baby is born. He really likes the new bed and enjoys going to bed now more than he did when he was in the crib!

Fun With The Hose

Today we had some fun cleaning the car, and replacing some flowers that got killed by the last frost. Adrian got a hold of the water hose, and was having the most fun holding us as hostages with it!! I came out the front door and he had me hiding on the porch because he was threatening to soak me if I came down the stairs! He was laughing so hard, it cracked us all up. Patrick was trying to wash the car, and everytime he would start scrubbing Adrian would try and sneak up behind him and spray him down!

The beginning of February the Lord blessed us with an Expedition. We are enjoying the added space, and the lack of time and money we are spending at the mechanics shop!!

Patrick's Checkride

Patrick was down in Orlando all week at a school there getting his MEI (mulit-engine instructor) rating. He was flying this Seminole everyday getting the hours he needed to take the checkride on Friday. Friday morning he went down early and flew, and the check ride was scheduled for 1:00p.m. Due to a late checkride that the instructor had with a student in Jacksonville, and traffic, the check ride didn't end up starting until 5:30p.m. But the Lord helped him, and he passed the checkride, so he now has his MEI, which was like the last major rating he was working on!

Flying This Saturday

Patrick took Adrian flying this Saturday. Adrian begs to go flying everyday, so we are trying to let him go once a week, if it works out. He wakes up just about every morning saying, "I wanna fly". They went and buzzed Mom and Dad's house, and Patrick said that Adrian was yelling "Grandma's house" as soon as he spotted it from the air. He really likes it when Patrick lets him take the controls, and he told me all about the flight when they landed.

These pictures were taken by Susan when she was down for Christmas. At that time we were at 28 weeks in the pregnancy. It was a little bit of a challenge to get Adrian to pose for the picture, she really just had to snap it when he went for it!
